I have recently become very obsessed with the many worlds theory. The theory that says there exists an infinite number of universes, which also means there exists an infinite number of versions of me which are all a little bit or a lot different. It started after re watching some episode of The Big Bang Theory where Sheldon mentions this theory. I started doing some research, wikipedia, YouTube videos and eventually found an episode of "The Universe" about this. So it turns out there's some scientists who are pretty serious about it. Actually there's theories about four different kinds of multiple universes, meaning infinite^4 universes.
I forgot if there was anything I wanted to say with this. Anyway I find it quite an interesting philosophical subject. That there might be some version of me that has done things a bit differently makes you really wonder what those differences could have affected. It also gives a kind of calm, knowing that if there's something I don't get done there will always be a version of me that does. So that thing still get's done in some universe somewhere. Maybe even in multiple other universes. Something that also hit me at one point, is that I really owe the other versions of me to not chicken out of doing something, because even if I'm not successful there will always be a version of me that is. Ofcouse the theory would suggest that even if I don't try some versions of me will.
I just saw "Another Earth" which deals with something like this, however it's a mirror version of earth that suddenly appears close to earth. And they ask at some point what would you do if you met the mirror version of yourself. And I thought what would I do if I met another version of me from a multiple universe. And I would ask him about how he is different from me and find out how those differences has changed his life, what he has learned from them that I haven't because I did something different. So as to learn from him, learn more about myself.

Dreaming in english
So I had this interesting dream last night. Have been thinking about it multiple times throughout the day, and then suddenly it hit me, that the whole dream was in english. So I started thinking about this and I'm pretty sure it's something that happens from time to time. I just thought that was kind of funny, weird, interesting. Ofcourse it makes sense, since I spend a lot of the day writing, reading, hearing english. I wonder what controls this..

Random though on abort
The ethical question on abort can be compared to a heads up Texas Hold 'Em poker game. When you are small blind, or big blind and the other player has raised, you are considering wether you should call or fold. The flop about to come that could make your hand good or bad, can be thought of as both existing and non existing. It doesn't really exist because no one has seen it and the cards are random, so the potential hand you could get doesn't exist before the flop is shown, therefore you do not lose that potential hand if you fold, as it doesn't exist yet.
The same way when a baby is growing inside a belly it is only a potential person. It is only a certain set of genes and a biological animal, there is yet no soul. In my head what makes a person into the person he or she is, is the things that happen around and to him or her, and not the genes which merely is how a person is biologically build. So in that way a baby inside a belly does not exist before it is born.
So in the same way as the poker hand before the flop, one does not lose anything by giving it up.

Night of dreams
Last night I had no less than three dreams I remembered, all somewhat sad and borderline nightmares.
First one was that Abula had closed down the elma scene. How one would do that I'm not sure, but he had decided that it now was time to stop it all. There was a news post on moposite with more than 100 comments and GuyB had made the first comment. I wasn't home on that day I think so saw it the next and got really sad. Almost started crying, but then it turned out it was an aprils fool.
At the second I was at some kind of market or festival or something with some shops and booths, I was going to one of them, not really sure was it was about. However Hitler was still alive and he was coming to that booth aswell with his wife. Somehow I knew he was now 101 years old, and I say hi to him and his wife and shook his hand, which was really fragile because he was so old.
In the third my great grandmother had died and me and my four siblings (3 older brothers, 1 younger sister) where to get the heritage. In the start me and 2 of my brothers were riding around on horses for some reason. We had the will on a piece of paper and someone lost it in the sea or dock or something. That meant we couldn't get the money and we were quite sad. However someone then jumped in the water and got the paper back. A bit later my three brother were talking to the guy who adminstrated the will and it turned out that the money would only be given the three of us that were riding on the horses before for some reason. However my three brothers were trying to get the money for them. I saw they were talking about it and protested, and said I'd be glad to share it will all five of us. Then I don't remember if anymore happened.
On another note the best of 2009 winners will come today or tomorrow, and I turned on word verification for comments, as I've gotten some spam comments lately.

Lying positions
So lately I've been having a hard time finding a good lying position when going to sleep, always moving around and such. Maybe it's because I'm getting so old now that I've been lying a lot and have used up all the good lying position, so I can't find any good ones anymore?

Oh My Fucking God
..and that is what I have to say about that.
Okay a little more details. If you haven't been following the Tour De France this is what has happened: Dane Michael Rasmussen was leading with 4 stages left and seemed a sure winner. However his team Rabobank fired him and took him out of the Tour because he might have lied about where he was in June (they have to report where they are at all times so they can be checked for doping).
I first read about this when someone posted a link to l'equipe's website in IRC sometime short past 23:00 that evening. At first me and Zerox agreed that it couldn't be true as Rabobank had been very supportive of him in the case so far. But as the next hour went by more and more websites made news about it and I had to realise it was true. Danish TV2 even made a special TV News program about it. As a big cycling and Tour De France fan this made me very sad, and I can't even start to imagine how he himself must be feeling.
It would have been something completely different he it had been tested positive for doping, but he hasn't, he has 17 negative doping test from this year's Tour De France alone. The whole thing is just really fucked up. The International cycling union UCI says there's no reason he should be taken out of the Tour. Rabobank boss Theo de Roij was presured by the Tour De France management ASO to take him out, who for some fucked up reason doesn't like him. It's based on one attention-whore who says he saw him in Italy when he should be in Mexico and the extensive hunting for scoops by the press. You get the feeling that many people in organisations like ASO and danish DCU really hate cyclists, and that sport journalists are failed sportsmen who couldn't make it themselves and then need to get their anger out by suspecting those he did succed for doping and shit. Why can't they just focus on the sport itself instead of constantly trying to find someone they can suspect of something? This one danish newspaper said after this episode that they would stop writing about Tour De France and focus about doping. Which is propably the stupiest thing I've ever heard.
ARGH It just makes me so angry!!!
To me Michael Rasmussen will always be the moral winner of this Tour De France. As a danish comentator said: It was the second best who won.
On a side note this thing also costed me 470 euro as I'd betted on Michael Rasmussen to win the Tour and would have won that.

Sweet summer
You gotta love summer, when it begins to get warmer, and girls begin to wear less and less clothes. :b~
