Many worlds theory

I have recently become very obsessed with the many worlds theory. The theory that says there exists an infinite number of universes, which also means there exists an infinite number of versions of me which are all a little bit or a lot different. It started after re watching some episode of The Big Bang Theory where Sheldon mentions this theory. I started doing some research, wikipedia, YouTube videos and eventually found an episode of "The Universe" about this. So it turns out there's some scientists who are pretty serious about it. Actually there's theories about four different kinds of multiple universes, meaning infinite^4 universes.

I forgot if there was anything I wanted to say with this. Anyway I find it quite an interesting philosophical subject. That there might be some version of me that has done things a bit differently makes you really wonder what those differences could have affected. It also gives a kind of calm, knowing that if there's something I don't get done there will always be a version of me that does. So that thing still get's done in some universe somewhere. Maybe even in multiple other universes. Something that also hit me at one point, is that I really owe the other versions of me to not chicken out of doing something, because even if I'm not successful there will always be a version of me that is. Ofcouse the theory would suggest that even if I don't try some versions of me will.

I just saw "Another Earth" which deals with something like this, however it's a mirror version of earth that suddenly appears close to earth. And they ask at some point what would you do if you met the mirror version of yourself. And I thought what would I do if I met another version of me from a multiple universe. And I would ask him about how he is different from me and find out how those differences has changed his life, what he has learned from them that I haven't because I did something different. So as to learn from him, learn more about myself.

My Eurotrip

As previously mentioned I'm going on a small trip in march, so that's pretty soon. By now I've pretty much planned everything out. The main goal of the trip is to exprience some concerts with some nice bands and artists, and it has been planned around that. At one point I had ordered tickets for six concerts, but then in one day two of them cancelled their tours (Natasha Bedingfield and Sophie Ellis-Bextor) and a few days before I found out that I didn't get the ticket anyway that I'd ordered for Kelly Clarkson. However I managed to find a ticket for Kelly Clarkson on some other website, though more expensive, and I found one more concert.

Here's a schedule of my trip:

March 1: Leave from Denmark
2: Lyon
3: Alicia Keys at Lyon
4: Lyon
5: Lyon -> London
6: London
7: Rihanna at London
8: London
9: London
10: London
11: London -> Manchester
12: Panic! at the disco at Manchester
13: Manchester
14: Kelly Clarkson at Manchester
15: Manchester
16: Manchester -> Hamburg
17: Nightwish at Hamburg
18: Hamburg -> Denmark

As transportation I've ordered an interrail ticket. Today I bought 100€ and 100£. I've booked hostels in all the cities where I'll be. So I'm quite ready by now.

Best of 2006

Sorry about the delay, but some catagories was very hard to decide. Like last year the runner ups are more of less sorted. Here are the best of 2006!

Movie

Imagine Me & You

Runner ups:
Just Like Heaven
V for Vendetta
Just Friends
Superman Return

Comment: What would seem like a mediocre romantic comedy turned out to be one of the best movie love stories. Maybe not a year with big competition, and only two movie rated 10. However this doesn't mean Imagine Me & You wasn't a really really great movie.

TV Show

Alias

Runner ups:
Scrubs
How I Met Your Mother
Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip
Lost

Comment: This was very hard to decide. Scrubs is a really great show aswell. Season four of Alias was awesome and kept up the great standards the previous seasons had set.

Song

Nelly Furtado - Maneater

Runner ups:
Kelly Clarkson - Because Of You
Panic! at the Disco - I Write Sins not Tragedies
Nelly Furtado - All Good Things (Come to an End)
Roxette - One Wish

Comment: Extremely hard one this year aswell. Because Of You is a really nice song, but Maneater have that great power in it, and Nelly Furtado has a great voice too. Maneater didn't have me hooked from the beginning though, it took some time before I discovered how good it was. I Write Sins not Tragedies was close too.

Music

Hilary Duff

Runner ups:
Kelly Clarkson
Britney Spears
Mandy Moore
Shakira
Vanilla Ninja

Comment: Last.fm stats says everything. Didn't start using last.fm before June though, that was also around when I started listening Hilary Duff. 1,246 plays, around 3 times as much as the second place. Have developed a greate love for Hilary Duff during the last year.

Elma achievement

Upside Down 1:04,40 danish record

Runner ups:
Master Cup 2 12th place
Flag Tag win at DEM06
skintatious 4th place on kinglist at one point, 8th now
1 hour TT win at DEM06

Comment: Though I probably used more time on Master Cup 2 during the year, it was just such a relief to finally get Upside Down back after 3½ years of trying. Hopefully it will last this time.

Game

The Settlers II - 10th Anniversary

Runner ups:
The Sims 2 Nightlife
TrackMania Sunrise

Comment: Again a year where I haven't played that many games. The new version of Settlers II rocked, the best of the series with modern graphics and fysics, what a threat.

Hottie

Hayden Panettiere

Runner ups:
Natalie Portman
Rachael Leigh Cook
Keira Knightley
Eva Longoria

Comment: Hot cheerleader in the surprisingly good Bring it On 3, cheerleader in new hit TV show Heroes. Uhh babe.

Website

CSManager

Runner ups:
skintatious
IMDb
Live Privates
JenGarnerNet

Comment: A really great browsergame. Have played CS maybe twice in 2006, but CSManager have me hooked up big time. Has had some succes in it lately also, playing in league 2.2 now, and one second place in a weekend tournament.

New posters part III

I used a lot of time saturday putting new posters up. Of the new ones I had bought I didn't use two of them (Pink, The Notebook). A few old ones, but only very few and small ones, got up also. I also found a few from the archive which I've never had up before.

A total of 29 posters were put up. The number is this low compared to the number I took down because I have more big ones now. The elma one above my monitor is made with Rasterbator, like the one Abula have.

I just love the new look in my room <3

New posters part II

Yesterday evening I took all my posters down. Except a few I forgot which I've just taken down, some postcards which are gonna stay and the stars wars collage, which are also gonna stay.

I counted it to a total of 51 posters I took down, ranging from A5 to 100*60cm in size, most being A4 or A3. My room is so empty now. :o

New posters part I

A short while ago I ordered some new posters, as it has now been year since I put up most of the ones I have on my wall at the moment. I recently discovered two nice online poster shops. Posterland.dk from where I ordered four posters and art.com from where I ordered five.

I got the last one earlier this week. So I'm planning to do the changes this weekend. Yesterday I looking through old posters I had lying around to see which I might wanna put up. And I also printed a single picture. Had another one I wanted to print, but didn't manage to find it :/

First Snow

First snow of the season came today \o/

Well that's probably no news to you, but it came at my place too. Or so tells my mom as I was in school at the time, but I did see it there aswell. I would take a picture but there is no snow on the ground and it isn't snowing now, so that wouldn't even funnier than these two lines.

We ordered the Family package at Canal Digital some days ago. As you might know there's MTV EMA's tomorrow so MTV Denmark has been sending a lot of pre shows during the last week and I have watched a few. Earlier today I saw "10 best performances" which was pretty interesting.
